Quite pleased with the progress of the last few days, Subs, bearings and brake calipers/pads all done.

I have ordered rear springs and dampers for next weekend..... :)
 
And voila, the springs and dampers turned up today :D

oh and some nice yellow indicator lenses as I dislike the clear with yellow bulb ones on the rear and faded yellow ones on the front!!

Good work mate. I obviously don't know where you are mechanically but there's a perfect video walkthrough on land rover tool box videos on YouTube for bearing and stub installations. You probably got it but rave is well worth getting. Has all the exploded drawings.

Cheers, I have done the stubs and bearings now. I have got one sides suspension off and the plates refurbished. I'm painting the axle and local part of the frame before reassembly.
It has been a pig with rusty nuts lol :)
 
Don't talk to me about rusty nuts lol. I've had to jump on scaff poles to get the ****ers undone.

Are you fitting the suspension this weekend mate?
 
We this weekend was most productive :)
Both sides of the rear suspension are in and the brakes have been bled.
The electrics are all working and just need to be tidied back into their lair :rolleyes:
I have just got to refill the rear diff tomorrow night and she should be good for Friday :cool:
