Top work on the bumper mate, looks awesome. And it looks absolutely immense with those arches, but as you've already said, bigger wheels are definitely needed.

Ok so next update. Before mike arrived I nosed together little and large:

Hang on the workshops empty????

Wheres my truck gone????
OH its outside

The first drive under its own steam :) Was a very happy chappy!!!
BUT.... The matrix is leaking. Gutted! Dash needs to come back out. I ran a hose through it before i fitted it too and no leaks! Ahhh well thats a job for friday.....
So when Mike turned up we tried to refit the bumper to add the extra bracing but it wouldnt go. So a lot of the day was taken up with cutting it up and rewelding allowing room for an easy on and off job. Once that was done, with the little time left he began on the tree sliders:

Whilst he was doing that i finished off fitting the arches, modifying and refitting all the trim in the back of the truck, reconnected the door straps, and changed the door cards for XS Land Rover embossed ones.
Friday we should have the M16 tap so we can clean the galv from the threads and get the sliders made up.

Not too bad actually!

Have you simply not added as much as one might think or have you removed plenty aswell?

I think I'm rolling about 2.6 with all the spares and gear etc...

Another update but no pictures really.
I tapped all the outrigger holes ready for mike to make the tree sliders and bolt them on. He got one made up yesterday but due to my next door neighbour not being in who owns the pillar drill we couldnt really progress so we started on the electrics. Fitted the second alternator, and wrapped and secured all the wiring in the drivers side wing area.
All whilst wearing hard hats as the wind was lifting the roof. I need to go up there today really and see if its all still there!

So the roof stayed put and the sliders progressed too.

Now to add the bars and the cage mounts!

Lack of funds at the mo, and a very busy Mikey. Ive just moved house so had to plough funds into that....

So not a great deal to update but its an update all the same.
Due to a leaky matrix I had to have the dash out again:

And going back together:

Can anyone tell me if the centre single pin plug is in the right one of the three holes? The one its in has no live to it, but the bottom two do. Ive no idea what its for but wondered if anyone could tell me:

Then i took it down the yard to do some very mild flexing:

Need to get this bloody thing finished!
