Well it's alive started straight up (thank god) but was missing on number one Panic time, but turned out a quick adjustment of the tappets and all was fine. Certainly more responsive at reving that before, lets hope the refurbed injectors and Turner Engineering head pay off.
I'm sure you can,the best thing i bought was a Clarke shot blasting pressure pot absolutely brilliant you just need a big enough compressor to keep up with it.
Thanks Buddy, It may be a possibility in the future .
Tonight i achieved to bend and fit all the brake pipes and bleed them up also fitted the power steering back on just couldn't be arsed to dig the ATF out to get that bled up.
Thank you. as for the bulkhead you just have to cut the Puma gearbox tunnel off as it is spot welded on then i drilled 7mm holes then filled square to take the plastic things that the screws go in to and basically thats it. It does have a few extra holes in it but if you don't want them like me then just weld them up, i had to drill two holes for the throttle pedal that were only in one skin of the footwell as well Oh and two nuts welded in the front to take the filter housing.
Hmmm if your using the Puma wiper setup, doesn't this mean that you won't be able to fit td5 style dash? Or are you planning something fancy and fitting Puma dash?

Oh, so it's actually not a bad job to make them fit then.... Shame about the vents though!!! It will be following this thread a bit more closely I think.
I'm guessing that this dashboard is going to be something special!
In all honesty I think the omission of the vents was a good idea. Especially here in UK. I can see them being useful abroad or in desert but here they just leak cold air and water....

I aggree with you in principle but the vents, however bad they are, are a big part of the character of the defender, and theres nothing better than on a rare hot day to open them up fully and getting that big whoosh of cold air.
