Hi...

I own a 04 Td4 and am getting roughly 34mpg on small town runs , is this about right ? i believe its had the thing that regulates stuff blanked?

That narrows things down a bit

I'm guessing you mean the EGR valve.

About 35 ish sounds right to me but I don't own a freelander myself.

28 mpg out of my auto

depending on where I am driving, anywhere between 27mpg and 34 with my td4 auto
