There's just a few new and second hand ones on eBay, not specific to a Defender but any vehicle with a similar tow bar i.e. RRc, disco 1 & 2.

Yeah I've seen a few on eBay but not sure what will work as I have my spare wheel on the back door and would like that to be cleared.

seen one on a Defender last week that was adapted from the tow bar - if you have a tow bar - only noticed it as the bikes sat past the rear spare wheel and I thought it looked vulnerable

Have you considered the one that fixes onto the spare carrier? Boss goes in trapped by the wheel then rack just clips on and off.

I have this ... £30 collected from Doncaster ...

Two bike carrier, not been used for ages, works well so long as you strap it on (Don't ask).

Can't be arsed with reading this whole thread so the point may have been made earlier, but why not just take the front wheel off it and put in the back ? All I've ever done with my Kona !

I’ve got a Fiamma one that’s adapted to fit behind the spare wheel with the boss sticking out through the wheel Center. Quick and easy to remove when not needed but a bit tight if you want to carry 2 mountain bikes but doable.

It’s basically the same as in this picture that I’ve pinched from google. Can get pictures of the actual one if you are interested.

Made it. Made a few more, could finish the last one off and let you have it cheap, just needs cleaning up IIRC .. £50 collected.
