Cool.

Just out of interest and bearing in mind i have only had my defender 6 months, How do they do the brake test during an MOT if the vehicle is permanant 4 wheel drive? the rolling road iv'e seen used only rotates one axle at a time, No good for the Landy!!

No problem at all, thats what your centre diff's for!

the old fashioned way, same as gaylanders... if the LSD is faulty they can be damaged unless the tester can contra rotate

Of course, I'm a num nuts!!

So I won't leave the diff lock on for a laugh when the guy does the MOT!!!

My brake test was interesting, the rears were pulling on about 350kg's each and the fronts were about 630kg each, thats 1.9 tonnes of breaking force!

Hows if work with the range rovers? bloke put a box in the car and drove and stopped it.. never seen it before
I think it has some sort of gyro set up that can measure small differences between left and righ braking force.
Mind I could be talking bollox.
