I fail to see how a single axle roller will damage a normal Land Rover transfer box... It is subjected to MUCH worse when you are stuck!

Anything was a VCU (Rangies, Freelanders ect) then i would not test them on a single roller as that is asking for trouble.. but a normal LT230....

Oh, and anyone with a defender read there fuse box recently?

I know what you mean.
Every time this issue is raised, there's a load of bollox posted by people who think they know everything, but actually know fook all.
I've given up trying to tell them!
 
My defender passed today, and the missus P38 a month ago

My MOT testing station use the tapley method up the road for the brakes and the big slope outside the workshop for the hand brake

They stop on it, engage handbrake release footbrake If it holds the motor still

But that is why a drive by 3 more local stations to one 25 miles away...!!

They only have 2 rollers.
