Well Tuesday was the day for the annual test and it failed on the horn. It had worked on Saturday when I tested it.

Oh well, the misses took it back on Wednesday and was home by 0930 with the pass certificate - great.

She text me at 1000 to tell me that someone had driven into the back of our pride and joy.

This is what the bitch in the van has done.....

Oh ye, I'm gutted. Have spent about £300 sorting the swivels and bearings out.

It has been taken away by the repair company and the delivery woman has admitted full responsibility. Don't particularly want it to be a write off but every cloud has a silver lining.

I suspect that whether it's a write off or not I'll lose out financially.

Any help and advice welcome.

get your missus to put in a claim whiplash sleepless nights or even scared to drive then at least you have a top up to your claim if they write it off.The other thing is i read on her you can insist on it being repaired as not your fault.

No the misses was sat in the house at the time, however she did have a sleepless night worrying about our trip to France in August. The damage looked really bad - chassis, parts of the tub, rear door and wheel carrier replacement. I'll do it myself if they give me enough dosh.......

get it write off buy it back for scrap value+ whiplash +(scared to driver loss of earning all that ;)) there's no way you can lose out mate

well if they write it off buy it back.just keep your options open.No point second guessing until you get quotes on it.The only blessing it should be straight forward.By the way she looks like a right happy rug muncher (the driver)
