I suppose I should have expected that!
There seems to be a large number of free ODBII reader apps available - I was just hoping someone might be able to recommend one of them that might help me in this scenario... I need it to work with a Bluetooth code reader.
I'll even pay for one if it's worthwhile!!

I used the free app but it was so good I bought the pro version. I reckon he deserves a few quid for making such a decent app.
 
Biggest hurdle is getting an iPad to talk to a bluetooth to the dongle....check this out first with research..

Same here much quicker for a basic check on most petrol cars than getting the pc out, my phone is an android and I leave the bluetooth dongle in the glovebox of the rangey so when somebody says they have engine light on its out with the old dongle and check it !
