Ok... after thinking my auto gearbox was playing up and changing the oil, and a few test drives later, I'm now 99% sure the gearbox is fine and I have a misfire. It started shuddering at 2500rpm and wouldnt go any faster which made me think it.was clutch slip. After changing the oil, the judder got worse and happens throughout the rev range, even under slight load and now happens at idle, in park or neutral.
So, wastegate rod moves freely, MAP sensor recently cleaned, MAF sensor knackered so disconnected, new fuel filter, new air filter, NO oil in ECU plug.
Likely suspects?

Have you checked the plug at the front of the engine that connects to the injector loom? Could quite easily be that even if it hasn’t made it to the ecu yet.

Yes, it has got a fair bit of oil around/on it so I did wonder, none at the plug though.

That’s what mine was like. Any significant load of the engine and it would shudder and die, restart and all good until the next time you asked anything of the engine. New loom and all good.... well as far as that is concerned at least!

Are we talking about the loom inside the rocker box or the rocker to ECU wiring?

Or both?...

Bearmach I think, though after fitting it I noticed a lot of people recommending oem. It’s not been on long enough for me to make any judgement on it. And yes just gave the plug a clean, my ecu plug looks as good as new so presumably I caught it early.

Obviously getting it on diagnostics would be preferable as you may be throwing money away but the symptoms sound similar to mine.

New loom fitted, misfire gone, great!

However... still no power above 2500rpm or 30mph.
I've done some deeper investigation and found oil leaking from the bottom of the intercooler and a nasty bulge in the bottom of it. So, whilst I may have had a harness issue, I must also have had a busted intercooler at the same time
Once it's cooled down, I'll have a better look but I reckon I'm losing boost pressure through a crack In the I/C
Bollocks...

Until I can get the intercooler out to have a proper look, if it is split, would the symptoms be a lack of power after 2500rpm, max speed of 35mph on the flat, if I floor it, it kicks down and maxes out.at 3000rpm and goes no faster?
It seems to drive fine up to about 30mph (if a little flat)
