My TD5 manual 2003 started playing up i.e. a misfire like symptom.After reading the forums I checked the ECU and found there was a tiny bit of oil in the plug ,cleaned it and took out the ECU unit overnight to stand it on its end to see if there was anymore oil in the unit (There wasn't) My next plan of attack was to disconnect the MAF unit and the car ran as sweet as a nut. I then bought a new Siemens MAF sensor thinking it was going to cure it but the symptoms have returned albeit only a few times but very frustrating to think I've stumped up £80 for nothing. The EGR unit has already been blanked off by the way. Can you help me I would be most greatful.:lalala:
