Not my conclusion, garage said it. It's done 109k which is about right for it to be worn out, yes? Misfire at startup, coolant needs topping every few days, top hose looks like a python after lunch, minor hoses have needed the jubilee clips tightening for weeks now and a garage which specialises in Land Rovers (Finlandya Custom, Glastonbury) have given me a diagnosis which seems reasonable. The footwell leak was just after it had been washed so most likely not relevant though I'll still clear the condenser drains.
I'm not scrapping the car I'm trying to get recommendations for a well built replacement engine and Turner seem to have a good rep. RPi seem very good but too pricey... I'll probably get a Kent H180 cam for a little treat!
