Right iv got a 1995 90 and for some strange reason when I go out in it it choses when they want to work ie...they work and when I turn it off and go out again later they don't....I put the indicator on the other day when they didn't want to work I went to the back wires at the rear and just wiggled the loom then gave up...I started it again later ( indicator stork still flicked down ) and they started goig soon as I turned the key SO I CANT BE A LOOSE WIRE AS IT WASNT MOVED FORM NOT WORKING TO WORKING haha stupid thing...ideas anyone?? Btw when they don't work and I flick them on none flash and it don't click like they should but when they work it will click and flash...thanks

Yep they work when the hazards are on..I recently re wired the back lights so I went and checked the earth but that's fine...I'd understand if it worked and stopped while I dove with the bumps etc but when it don't move well..that just get me haha

I haven't looked there I was maybe thinking it's the stem? But the lights flash when I pull it....just don't know where to stay without starting to take it allll apart or any tests I can do to find the problem

Prob the indicator switch, take the cover off an have a looksie......so if the connectors are worn, dirty, melted or loose....

My money would be on the hazard switch. When the indicators are not working, pull the hazard switch out and wiggle the wires.

I went out in my troublesome little madam today. The indicators switch on but don't flash. The hazards do the same. Any ideas anyone?

TBH if all of the lights are lighting with the stalk flipped and they're not flashing i'd be after the flasher module.

The electronic ones will fail like this - the timer circuit doesn't start so no clicking.

I have also seen the hazard module fail like this - the internal contacts go high-resistance and the voltage is too low to actuate the flasher module. Jumpering out the switch (green/yellow wire to light green wire) will provide full power to the flasher module and might help indicate (pun intended) the source of the problem.

Was the hazard switch?! Iv had it changed and they work...I don't think It was that as the hazards would work on the button just the indicators wouldn't ...strange
