No you just take it upon yourself to try and **** me off or insult me at every chance you get wether it be related to the thread or not.

We both know you're being a sarcastic arse

And just for reference by disabled I meant american as its the same thing before some PC nonce pipes up about me slagging off people in wheelchairs etc

Doc not true, that is a assumption on your part........... Like telling a tall tail.

Easy about the disabled, as I am and collecting a disability pension from the military.

Just one other thing if you are welding get a fire extinguisher. Have seen a couple of times people welding next thing you know is the car is on fire....

An assumption that going off everything posted anyone would believe to be correct

Hence clearing it up before anyone says PC crap, got nothing against disabled people. Know a few mentally disabled and those with physical ones too.

Ya never know..:D

Snigger :D video would be good ;)

I don't think this is breaking the rules:

MIG Welding Forum

There is a wealth of knowledge on there, and the members are really happy to help a noob out.

I ended up with a GYS Smartmig from weldequip (Mig welding forum sponsors), good reviews and it uses a euro torch, which means replacement parts etc are easy to get.

Steve from weldequip is really good, give him a call and he will give you plenty of good advice. I was a little unsure and he was only too happy to give good advice.
!
Not pimping them out, but I think good customer service stories should be passed on.

Nice one! Thanks a lot to every one that's given me some tips. I'll try not to use butane or oil whilst welding!

Rather than buying new, see if you can find a good one second hand as you'll get more for your money!

Migtronic are excellent as are Lincoln, Butters are very good too and Oerkilon (something like that they're swedish)

like to see a co2 put out a seat or interior fire as this is what will catch fire when welding on a car first

cos co2 won't replace the oxygen around the fire thus starving it of one of the three things fire needs to survive will it!

The ones iv'e seen all started in the engine bay when the welder was underneath buy the time he got to it it was to late..

This is merkin logic remember! Its opposite land there, water puts out oil fires and what not!

Again fook wit uni student knows all.

Ask seadog if they teach putting oil fires out with water in the NAVY

DOC what do they use to put out fire on oil rigs in the ocean

I use my old mans nutool mig welder, dont have a clue what Im doing with it most of the time but it seems to work, when im not welding the copper spool to the handle thing:eek:
Ive found that an arc welder is better for my chassis as its pretty solid, although, as its full of Waxoyl it does tend to catch fire quite often:)
