Should i ebay me old three spokes or weigh em in?They still got tire on but the tires are quite knackered.The rims were originaly green abut the paint has flaked and faded so dont think ill get much seeling em.Do i need to take the tires off to weigh em in?

But the law regarding tire disposal requires it to be done in a green manner(you'll get charged for it if you go to kwik fit)-will a scrappy refuse point blank to take em with tires on?
 
I'd at least ebay them first ... then if they don't sell weigh 'em in. Start them at what you'd accept for them.

PS ... any pics, how much do you want? I assume you mean RR 3 spoke alloys, that would fit a Disco? I want a set of wheels for on-road, with el-cheapo tyres, instead of running down MT's ... ;)

yep rrc or disco1.Maybe defender but not sure.They are tatty but straight.Got me through mots, been on the car since new-were colour coded.Two goodyear wranglers and two at pattern with lots of tread but the side walls are looking a bit tired(geddit!).Pics to follow.
 
Well looks like they'll be getting sold then.Ill stick em up here first tho....pics still to follow and that.
 
Definitely interested, depends on price and when I can get to Belper.

Well pice aint gonna be massive, ive got steelies with muds on and no where to put these.If yer looking for bling soz not here, the wheels are good, tires as described.Ill have a look see if i got any photos if not pm me yer number and i could use me phone...

I think they'd save us money in the long run, but it's not my decision. We've just had to buy a replacement axle/diff for mine and she says she doesn't want any more old ****e lying about the place, or any more Landies up on jacks every weekend ... ;(

I think she's being picky, but the pic is the back garden taken a minute or so ago ...

... is what i said to her, and that when the axle's been ebayed it'll be mostly non-Landy stuff, but wimmen, eh ... wimmen. Huh !!
 
if my missus saw how tidy your garden is i'd be in deep poop! :rolleyes: i got bits of 3 different cars in mine plus a shed fulla motiebike crap :eek: our littlen loves playing with the scrap and spare wheels :D :D
 
yer wunt even get £3 a wheel at the mo concidering its under £40 a tun mixed scrap , ebay all the way , even steels go for £20.00
