re the Skytag - its £x to buy the thing, and then so much a month - have I got that right ? do insurance companies give discounts for this extra security ??? :) (TIA)

Yeah I forget what I paid for it from Paddocks but it's about seven or eight quid a month but I think it's fair to say it's paid for itself. I don't know if Adrian Flux do a discount for it or not I only bought it for peace of mind but I know the police were impressed with it as it's the only one they've recovered and within half a hour of me reporting it gone. You can ring them up if you go on holiday and if the vehicle moves at all they will notify the police straight away without you being there

mmm, now let me think, £249 direct from skytag, or £114 from paddocks, which is round the corner.......????????

£7 a month is enough, but a bargain at a time like this.....
 
glad the op found his vehicle.

skytag sounds good, but if it can be jammed by a 20quid gsm jammer.. then it's only for the dumber thieves imo.

The prevailing theory is that if they were cleverer, they wouldn't be car thieves.
 
**** me I can't believe after all that work you've put in its actually gone missing. And to then get it back so quickly is unreal... I'm do glad it's safe dude. Next you need to find out who took it and **** them up....
 
After paying £150 release fee that I was told by the rozzers that I wouldn't have to pay the tratter is safely back home on my drive :D
