Hello All,
Seen a Discovery 3 HSE that I like, the only issue is that it is a manual gearbox , as I know nothing about disco's yet can anyone offer opinions on this , mostly be used on road but there will be some off road use when I am at the farm.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Cheers
Tommy

Had manual d3's at work for towing absolutely pathetic clutch and flyweel kept destroying themselves on a regular basis, gutless until we had them mapped. One died and was replaced with a auto and everyone fought over it.. the manuals were fun with no trailer.. autos drove seemlessly on that how many speed box they had..

I won't be towing anything , it's just going to be my daily driver , just a bit wary because the automatic box on my jaguar xf is very smooth and great when stuck in traffic etc.

Cheers

If your used to the finer things you'll notice a big back step.. as a manual 4x4 goes tho it wasn't bad better than its predecessors.. I'd have another if necessary but I'd be hard pressed to prise myself from automatic daily drives now..
