Hello, is anyone familiar with disco 3 control units? Where are the control units for the automatic gearbox and gear selector located?
I have a problem that nothing happens when you push the lever to P

Check the actuator cable joint underneath, they're very prone to seizing up.

I think the ecu is behind the battery up against the bulkhead, they can suffer from water ingress, as @Graculus says the pivot also likes to seize up.

The transmission control unit is in the transmission itself, the one behind the battery is the transfer box control unit.
Don't assume *everything* is an electrical or electronic issue, sometimes good old corrosion and ageing of mechanical components is to blame.
