Sorry all. Didnt get chance to ring Mantec as I was out being scammed out of a Bullbar by another member on here. Will ring him tomorrow and see what kind of deal we can get.

Sorry Lee, it obviously didnt post my update! Spoke to Nick at Mantec and they have an open day today, so as they are so mental sorting out for that, he is going to get me the best prices he can do on Monday, rather than rushing through the old prices as of 2011. PM including the G4 BullBar/Sump Guard!!! Keep your eyes peeled for an update.

That was originally a Safety Devices product I think, unless it was actually fabricated at Solihull, however if we manage to get together a group buy for a few things from Mantec, If there is enough interest, I will investigate a group buy from Safety Devices.

What makes you say that? As soon as monday comes with the prices then I think you would be better placed to say if it is a waste or not?

He didnt ring me which is f..lippin annoying! Ringing him at 9am tomorrow morning!! If I dont get them prices tomorrow then they obviously dont care that much!

Ok so for those interested in the raised air intake. We can get ahold of five straight away at a price of £225 delivered (it may go up, no more than a tenner, but could come down to around £200 or less)

Sills £95 delivered

Tank Guard £190 ex vat ex delivery

Exhaust Guard £312 ex (he is looking into why this is so expensive. should come down significantly)

Sump Guard £246 ex.

More news. He is also looking into pricing for the 2" front reciever for the G4 Freelander. Additionally I have discussed the G4 3dr Lightbar and he is going to try and get ahold of one from Landrover as he thinks they may use the same brackets as the snorkels, but modified. In which case he would be happy to put these into production.

If anyone is put off by the prices, I did discuss perhaps looking at producing some of the items in steel, rather than ally. Price comes down, but weight goes up.

If anyone is still interested in the snorkels first can they let me know. We will need to organise a deposit first off everyone that wants one so that he can manufacture them.

Those prices look about the same as those I posted from 2009, if they don't include vat. Eggsource guard was much cheaper.

The aluminiuinimuninm sump guard is heavy. About 17kg which is difficult to lift up under a Freelander. I use blocks of wood to support it. Wouldn't want to have to fit one in steel. :bolt:

Very similar. That was the latest retail prices he had, however he is going to try and get those down for us. Those are worst case scenario. If people are genuinely interested then I can lean on him more, but don't want to give him the 'ump if no one is actually arsed.

you want to tell the person who's photo it is he has a oil leak on the drive shaft

Fixed :D
It's nice to see photos of my freebie are used to illustrate thread:clap2:
If any info / more photos of guards is needed - let me know.
Greets :)

Best thing to do Kizzeh is ring direct for those. He still has two sets left and as such dont need a group buy for those remaining.

Thanks will do. You did say before but i didnt know if the price you put up would be cheaper as it was part of the group purchase
