Hope this helps. The rear diff is not covered as far as I can tell by the rear exhaust guard, it may be by the tank guard but not seen a decent enough picture. These are pilfered from one of MudFreelander Forum's build diary threads.

thanx for the pics :)
yes .. it does help ..

just been under the vehicle now .. checking out the fuel tank cradle for rust ..
( need to give it a bit more £ thought .. before i can give a conclusive yay or nay )

ok .. count me in as interested in purchasing a sump guard 'n fuel tank guard .. :)

Teddy, thats Winu's freebie and you know what he is like with renewing parts. cant see it being an issue!. I will ring my contact at mantec tomorrow and get an updated price as well as a confirmation on the TD4 snorkel order.

Sorry chaps, I think £180 for the snorkel is probably too much for me, it would only be a vanity mod.

Hah that's the point of this! They don't make it any more, but if a decent order is placed they'll make limited nos again

Ahh got you, well a snorkel would be for ponce factor :p but protection will be needed, on that front, if i was to fit an A-Bar on the front does that offer sump protection ??

Intresting as ive got some cheq plate at home, might be worth looking at.

If I fitted the an A-bar, were do they fix ? could it be modified for the job??

Pre face lift? Don't know! Normal metal a bars don't go back far enough, google camel trophy Freelanders. They did it on them
