hi all i live in manchester, me and a few mates have 4x4's, we do have a couple of regular places that we go but it gets a bit boring after a bit.
does anyone know of anywhere in manchester or the surrounding areas good for a bit of fun. plus has anyone ever bin to toms farm in wales?

it is south wales, i will find out off my mate, he has bin a few times on his bike and he loves it. he said it is some serious terrain. thing is its getting a bit cold now to be camping as its a 3 and a half hours drive from me.

If you go make sure you've got a couple of spare tyres. Apparently the rocks are as sharp as sharp things and cut your tyres to ribbons
 
hiya mate am from liverpool and often take mine up to leigh with my mates in there rangies, you ever been there? let me know as its well worth going for an abandoned coal quarry lol
 
Leigh ? Leigh near wigan ? where do you go there, i know leigh but didnt know there was anywhere to go ?
 
e mail me @ jaguar_mad@hotmail.co.uk and ill reply with the details as i dont wanna shout about the place incase it gets abused by the wrong people, it can be as easy or as difficult as you want it to be but just dont go with only one lanny unless experienced mate "dont mean to sound like am the best cause i aint, i assure you lol" but it must be at least 2 mile by 2 mile and when your at the top you can see the whole of wigan. where abouts are you from? if you off road a land rover and live not far from leigh am suprised you dont know as its pretty much common knowledge around liverpool and manchester. speak soon mate!

Hi mate.
I used to live in bury with my dad.
I have a series an hes got a 90.
We went to Whitworth quarry near rochdale yesterday.
We go all the time.

MASSIVE!
Theres 3 abandoned quarrys, about 40 miles squared of moors and marshland (good for testing your tyres!)

Its not too busy either, really good place.

Id be up for a day out if u an ur mates wanted to check it out.
I'l bring my dad (we all need someones arse to kick!)

i would be up for it max its only about a hour away really. you should try liegh somtime, can be that much of a retch for you.
have a look at the vids i put up of the place.
