I have 2 spots on my A bar, genuine land rover ones, and they are awesome!

thks, just not sure if having 4 x round spot lights on the freelander will look right,

they always however look good on the series and discos etc

just trying to find pics of the round and square ones so i can see what they look like

can then see what i can find online

thks

Hiya,
Thks for the link I actually saw them only a little while ago, got a land rover wiring loom, inc all the switches and relays etc , so am now looking for the lights

Also can't find a way of preventing them in getting nicked etc, was thinking about a glue etc to secure the nuts on as I haven't seen an anti theft spot light kit yet

As the front of the freelander panels are quite sq just didn't know if it would look ok

Been searching and just cannot seem to find any pica of sq lights on freelander bumpers

Thks again about the brackets, defentely a bonus

Thks again

No worries Gary, yeh ive been trying to look for some and nobody seems to have any pics.

But because the panels are quite square, that might make the square ones look like they should be there?

the nuts and bolts etc holding them in place should be behind/underneath the bumper so i would have thought thats anti theft enough?

Hiya

Thks guys, kc are supposed to be the dogs nuts, but extremely expensive

I'm thinking of taking one wire from my bonnet alarm and extending it and making a loop through the lamps then back into the other side of the switch, but not sure it would work and suppose as well the ins company would say I've compromised the thatcham alarm

Just don't want a little tow rag to come along and help himself

In ur opinion do u think the square would look better etc and less obtrusive than the rounds one

Is there any advantage in having round ones with light pattern , power etc please

Not sure yet if it worth buying some muticore cable to extend the loom etc or buying it in single lengths as I could then get the same colour wires and then put it into a flexible conduit etc

As thought if I could try and find a small conduit could them drill a small hole in the back of the lamps pushing it right inside with a grommet etc

I know naybe its an overkill but just really fussy

As I also want to put a spare 12v socket in the boot, run an extension socket etc to a magentic amber light on the roof so all the side panels etc will be coming out so wish to do it all in one go, including to sort out the dreaded leak in the boot and make sure its not coming through the welds around the tool box area
Install cb wires etc from front to back etc

Haven't forgotten teddywood1

Plus its suprising how expensive things are when u start adding them up, wiring, connectors, lamps, conduit, cb wires etc etc

As the carpet also needs drying out
Thks so much guys

Really appreciate it, as I would rather spend a few months spending time and getting it right first time
