Hello Guys, just to give an update... i got the project stopped for a few months.. and i know all situations can help other members in the future...

I take the HP Fuel Pump out and send it to an specialist to test and refurbish.. surprise, the inside of the pump was severely damage.
Put the pump right back in and voila, it starts!

Now i got another problem. The first start after settle a couple of hours its dificult, i need to put the ignition on and wait like 2/3 cycles of the LP pump to build up the tubes to get the car started... its look like air its getting into the system. Already replaced a majority of the diesel tubes and no difference at all..
And after it starts, i can shut off the car that he imediatly starts in 2 seconds. But if i return a couple of hours later, he will not start and need to wait 2/3 cycles (or minutes) to the car start. After it starts, he pulls really well without stalling or anything, really smood...

Can the camshaft sensor make this type of thing?
Im suspicious about the injectors, because i already replaced tank pump, LP pump, HP pump refurbished with new HPR rings, so all its missing its the injectors...

No codes at the diagnostic machine.

Cheers guys 💪

PS: just a reminder that this car is in a garage for the past 12 years without starting...

Hi,

Happy that you can finally start the car.
If the engine start the cam sensor is good !

Hard to start when the engine is cold, more likely an injector problem.
Now you can do an injector leak back test ! Hope that only one injector is giving issues ...

Regards
