Don't agree with Hawaii about the prices. Certainly when I bought mine, the ones with lpg already fitted were exactly the same price as the non lpg'd cars. It certainly wasn't worth buying one and converting it yourself.
Someone I know was thinking of doing this but looking at prices, it seemed to do nothing for the value and took too long to pay for itself.
Remember that the engines can be crap whether they've got lpg fitted or not - unfortunately it tends to be luck of the draw.
If you could find one that has already been top hatted then it would be worth paying a premium for it as you would never have to worry about that bit of it again. (Should I say 'never'? 'probably' would be better...).
