As I mentioned in last post, am looking for a 'workhorse' to tow a mobile climbing wall, I have considered getting a V8 disco with LPG conversion. There seems to be some reasonably priced ones out there but again don't know much about it.. do they really give 'V8 performance with deisel consumption (or better as some claim)' ? have heard conversion can cause all sorts of issues if not done by reputable / certified specialists..
Anyone have any thoughts/experience appreciated..

I had a Range Rover V8 on LPG, I've also had a Vectra, Hi Lux and currently have a BMW 325 all on LPG. They all ran like they were on petrol and cost half the price so I'd recommend it.

Get a multi point system if you can as they are much better and don't back fire!
 
They say up to 15% but I find to be much less, more like 7-8% which means you can get the cost equivalent of 29mpg if you don't keep flooring the loud pedal.

Better than my diesel! Do you notice a performance drop on gas?
