hi all ,
just yesterday i noticed slight problem when running at 40mph the revs felt like they were jerking and were holding back.
then it went awat and noticed a slight loss of power this morning. But after driving home from work all power was lost and it wouldnt rev higher than maybe between 1/2 to 3/4 normal revs.
thought maybe someone might have some ideas thanks

Possible turbo intake hose collapsing?

Psssssssst. Gis a clue what engine it has in it and we may even have a chance of getting it right.

Check turbo pipes, could be losing boost? mine was i noticed a loss in power, and a hell of a lot of smoke lol

blocked fuel filter or failing lift pump if a diesel

I had same couple of weeks ago on my s2 with tdi fitted then couple of days later wouldnt start was dead stop solenoid, screwdriver and hammer and i was on my way again.
My 90 started the same trick this morning, so new fikter today plus ive ordered another stop solenoid.

Yes check out what has been said but remember it may be a combination of at least a couple of problems - I had a similar problem and after discovering and replacing a split turbo hose I still had a loss of power at high revs. Tracked it down to faulty lift pump - happy hunting!!

thanks guys . did sort is the ova day . changed air filter and fuel filter. the fuel filter was full of grit... prob from offroading. cheeres
