Just out driving and losing power on any hill or incline.
Put foot to floor and max 55, speed drops as you go up hill.
Doesn’t appear to be smoking, no horrible noises?
Any help where to look appreciated for a novice.

Take a look in the Engines section of the forum, sub section Tdci Puma. Read the most recent post, there are several other posts with the same problem.
