Ennisboyne Member Sep 20, 2011 #1 My 2002 TD5 Defender is using half a pint of coolant per 100 miles. It seems to be escaping out the reservoir cap regardless of how hard I tighten it. Anyone got suggestions!

Dippypud Never Knowingly Understood Full Member Sep 20, 2011 #3 The washer in the cap can deteriorate over time, buy a new cap. If your stuck, take the washer off and turn it over so there is a new side to compress to.
