Hi,

I have some 2nd hand side steps for my Landy Disco 1.

I've been told I can't buy these brackets that would fit onto the chassis.

Is there anyone who either knows a source or could make a set for me?

Woo Hoo! I got a set now, thanks to Mathew2Riches for the ebay link.

I got them from here:-

(£44 incl delivery, so buying side steps without the brackets did not work out very cheap).

Have you ordered them? reason being I have a brand new set that you could have had for £20 inc the postage.

If you have the front mudflaps I know a guy who is looking for a pair to replace his that have broken.

Sorry I dont have any mudflaps but you can get them here

Mudflaps Front (Pair) RTC6820 Island 4x4 - Specialists in Land Rover and Range Rover Parts and accessories for all models. UK and worldwide mail order.

They do the mudflap brackets as well if you need them.

These are the mud-flaps that go with the side steps and do break, so i'm told, as they are plastic..

Still, the ones I showed you I think were stainless

Use stainless bolts as well and then they can be removed in 10 years time without any hassle..... or so I am told
