Hi chaps I'm throwing a quick post out there hoping to get some of your opinions on my next step.
The story goes, soon after buying my 2004 def 90 it ranaway on the dual carriageway, was lucky enough to kill it with ignition off alone and coast off onto an exit. Turned out to be a cracked no 1 housing, so replaced head, new washers/o rings etc etc, but on startup very low power, got it plugged in and injector 1 was not firing at all so new injector installed and power back up but I've now got what feels like low compression, bit of engine shake throughout revs and rough running and idle. My first thought is to remove head and check protrusion for a bent conrod? I've got an electronic compression test booked for Friday (another 100 quid!) so we'll see what that's showing up, any advice or opinions would be much appreciated!
Thanks all in advance
