Trying to get axles back on the
S2 but dont have the locktabs for the brake back plates...putting an order into Paddicks soon but will take ages to get here so whats your thoughts on using locktite instead just want to get it back to a rolling chassis locktite has come on a long way since 59 when they used tabs..

As a lot of new brake bolts come with a splodge of stuff on them now, loctite would do fine just depends on what one you use.

What you have got is always the best.

Got some on the shelf in shed but label has fallen off never used it but recall when I bought it ,it wasn't the one you need to heat to release...
I might be wrong, but if you look at the contents I think it will be red liquid or blue...but I think that while blue might sometimes be green, red will always be red, if you see what I mean.

Thanks for that will see what I've got might still be a bit of label left to get number off...but I reckon going to use it and forget the locktabs that connect 2 bolts together they seem old tech now..

You could drill the heads are wire them up ...

243 is blue - medium strength.
From my experience that has about the same resistance as a nyloc nut.
