Think outside, no box required.
Anyone had this, just noticed mine is doing this occasionally..

Oddly only after the car has "A either been running or "B" has the key in the ignition..

If i removed the key and press the tailgate button it'll lock/unlock once, and then be fine for the repeated times I open the tailgate!

It is also sometimes only locking the rear doors when the tailgate button is pressed?

Would it be the drivers door lock?

I have one Marty rebuilt would it be worth fitting?

cheers

@martyuk

It won't do it now i want it to!!!! :confused::D

No phantom faults, no wetness..

I note the footwell blocks are a tad green!

Could it be the wiring in the drivers door grounding out on the body? ?

Boot button earths through the drivers door lock, so maybe a bad earth. If the connectors are green I'd start there, tracking of logic level voltages through verdigris is common.

Didn't I say that in post #9? No ,I said they fill with crap but meant what you said.:D:D Take care.

Well after another day with the Bastid,I've managed to get the drivers door open,sat in there and got Nursie to turn the key to enter the eka code while I assisted the lever on the lock. Bugger me the eka didn't enter but low and behold the door would open. Ive now replaced the lock,the lever on the door handle lock seems to have a lot of play in it so perhaps that needs addressing .I'll have another go entering the eka tomorrow. Carry on rewardless. :D Photo for @RangeRoller dt ,l know he likes them and to remind myself that in the end I managed it and without resorting to the Manchester micrometer :D
