No they were listed as remanufactured Lockheed calipers for a 110. and listed as been suitable for mine. Thy're not and they'll be going back and a paypal complaint lodged.

Please show me a post where I've laughed at other people buying expensive calipers..

referring to you buying a cheap priced 110 and other spending several k more than you did. You have had your share of problems with it though

Not teaching you to suck eggs but you realise there are two types early late I wonder if that's the problem its been know for people to change the whole front axel including brakes .

these are rear calipers. I did the fronts a while back..

but I knew when I bought it that it was gonna need ****loads of money throwing at it. The whole idea was that I'd have the satisfaction of knowing that everything was new and working. Instead of spending £5k on a similar aged motor and wondering what was gonna break next.

so will a pair of twin feed front calipers fit on the rears???? if I blank one of the feeds off???? Or am I clutching at straws??

rear calipers are smaller in that they have 2 pistons not 4 ,so bolt holes closer together

Cheers knew it was too good an idea to work :( Cos I've got a pair of brand new twin feed, 4 pot front callipers sitting in workshop doing fook all...

noo rear calipers it is then

the britpart cheap calipers are ok £25ish for rears

Aye will have to order a new pair. I reckon these I have must be for a 90. cos the distance from mounting hole to the point where they sit on top of the disc is 10mm shorter, than the ones that are on mine now.

soo just to confirm I'm after STC1268 & 1269 for a 96 110 Vin HA onwards???

discs are the same diameter so not that then

In that case I will have to google the Lockheed part number off the caliper and see what they're supposed to fit?? Listing says 110 defenders. But as I said earlier no way will the mounting holes line up with the holes in the brackets. as they don't reach down far enough. Same width apart. but about 10mm shorter??

Today I fitted my £5 ebay bargain..

and tried not to melt whilst refitting the rooflining rewiring the lights and fitting sun Visors etc. Removed em all at B&W show when I did the body capping.

Oh and I've pikied an Axle guard for it.... :D

I did wonder what you were up to at the show... thought the weather was a bit dodgy for a topless conversion ;)
