If the glow plug lamp works this code might be hystorical, erase it and that's it... if there was oil ingress at the ECU it be a cause

Since this is the first time you've plugged it in, I would be tempted to clear all the historic faults, disconnect it and go for a bit of a drive. Then see what you get when you plug the thing in again.
We can then take it from there.

well, the missus took it back to the yard tonight, all 3 lights on, came home, done a code read, to see if any were stored on the ECU, and it came up clear, so went into "slabs"(think that what it was ) and it came up with this , I guess this requires the "SVS" Mod, which i had planned for the wk end anyway, will this sort it, or is this to do with something else:)

Yep, that's the shuttle valve mod :). Do the mod, clear the codes (yes that's on the SLABS) and look forward to at least ten more miles of trouble free motoring! :D

Just a quick note. While you've got the switch plate out, put the probes of a multimeter in the holes of the connector to check the resistors.
There are three 1k resistors on the plate, an ohmmeter across the two wires should show 3 k with no switches pressed, 2k with either switch pressed and 1k with both switches pressed. Check this post by sierrafery for a diagram.
There's no need to disconnect any brake pipes or to disassemble the ABS modulator. There's a YouTube (in the foreign unfortunately, but you'll see how to do it from the pictures) which will show which clips to remove and where all the bolts are.

Thanks for the advice, I have got the svs mod Web page saved down ready for the wk end, I have the cable and connectors,
Could not see any pics in the post that you attached though :(, can never have to much information

Sorry, just seen the pics, saved down ready for the wk end:)

thanks for the the video, thats really helpful. Just a quick thing though. can you really bend the brake pipes like that,:eek:

You aren't bending them, just easing them away.
Take your time and make sure that you remove the spacer clips, there's 3 of them and you should be able to lift the ABS modulator just enough to get at the bolts for the SVS plate

Ok I will try and be careful, not something usually said by me;)
Right, what location for the rear reversing lights
