i really am a learner in the car world, and knew id only ever drive a land rover defender. (im serious) and i know what i want it to look like but do not have the "right jargon".
but can i ask what in your opinion would be the sexiest lifting kit complete with new leaf springs and all.
plus im looking for a nice set of i think they are called mach 5 wheels.
any one have a good link for tires and wheel sets?
its a 110 csw.

By the way which defender has leaf springs?
 
i did say im not up on things DIDNT I?
this was a question and youve now informed me that defenders do not have leaf springs (and for that im grateful)
so maybe im being unrealistic here? but ive seen pictures of landys in mags that look nice and off roady b4 and thought wow i gotta get one. and build it up to be my pride and joy.
ill join a forum and try and learn from the friendly folk that frequent it "theyll know"
maybe i should posts some pics of my naked wife ? would that help?

ah think you might wanna start wiff a standard series or defender and then build it up from there. you'll get all the help you need on here and you wouldn't have to go pee pee while yer workin on it , as we'll take the pee pee out of you every chance we get. dunt mean we dunt like you thou
 
not really, unless she is holding a nice socket set, to be honest, if you aint really that up on cars, swapping springs is a bit ambitious,its no good getting out of yer pram cos people berate you, just go with the flow and ask a few more questions ;)
 
i would seriously like to get on that weekend youve organized in july. (is it still on)?
ill need help and advice to do that, im terrible with engines, computers, among other things.
but i do know what i like, and ive seen many pictures of landys that have the look im after. i wanna change the wheels but do not have a clue what sizes can fit on my vehicle, i wanna have a steering gaurd,winch, mach 5 wheels with chunky tires,i want it to ride high as i can get it.
i also wanna have a custom propshaft which im told is only possible on series land rovers?
and as for pictures of my wife ...give me the info and who knows!!!!!
 
i believe land rovers to be the best.
i have an old wreck and if i sound mad then im probably in the right place right??
ive always loved 90s , i love the look of em. and i always wanted a landrover.
i managed to convince a relative to let me have his old 110 and it needed alot of work (ive done none of the work myself due to the fact i know sod all about motors and worked from sun up til sundown.
it is now running not perfectly but its running and i wanna get it puuuuuurfect.
and your right its an interesting way to learn but id rather learn once its working properly. (or ill do more harm then good)
ive read a few magazines and saw a few things that interested me. and cant wait til i can get underneath it and play about.
maybe even do some off roading.
