hi guys , lift pump gone or so i think , my question been delphi or bearmach which is the better , thanks

Just another quick note on lift pumps -

If yours starts to drip, dont just think "its not dripping that much - ill deal with it later", as its quite possible that its leaking more on the inside than on the outside.

I had one dripping a bit, and it was alarming how quick the engine oil level started to rise....

I recon when i run out of pumps, ill fit an electric in-line pump, and plate over where the lift pump was.

If the fuel filter level is low, it is a sign the lift pump is not coping
On a good system the main fuel pump will suck through the one way valves

As you can see I got rid of the "original" lift pump, blanked off the opening and installed an electric pump
After the original lift pump leaking I installed a new one. Two weeks later the new lift pump leaked then I installed another lift pump (another brand) and that leaked too:mad:
Thus, I plugged the hole and installed a Made in Japan electric thingy-ma-bob! :p Been 3 years now no issues! Baaaad Lift Pump  ===> Photo0174.jpg
