I bought one of those chargers a couple of years ago, they work fine, will charge and maintain batteries and are OK to leave connected full time to cars that aren't used very often.
 
When Lidl offered these last time around I went in at about lunchtime to find them all gone. I asked a shop assistant if they had had the chargers..........
It seems that the first customer through the door that morning purchased the lot!
