unsure of the other roads as they get handed instructions to plot as they go. These photo is official check points that they have to pass
They're very close to my area, especially when at Beulah, I'm just further south off the A483.:) If they are able to choose their routes I can see how they lay their 'time-taking traps'! I'm sure they will have done their homework! :)

Thanks for the photo's, will look forward to keeping an eye on this thread throughout the journey. cheers

I just drove to a check point early this morning & most of the roads had loads of standing water & weather was either rain/hail with strong wind.
Well the drive past on time and was the first motor through which sometime worries me.
No chance for a photo.
Pity the open tops

(Good watching others work)
After 25 miles up hills on the motorway it decided to Chuck the water out.
As it’s been cold on the night they had left the muff up. So quick fix & fill up & away they go.
The extra air caused a miss fire(crap cap not holding the lead) fixed with replacement cap

I’m now just over the bridge before the Isle of Skye at at 2 hour stop waiting for the cars to start arriving from 21.00hrs.
Then they depart from 23.00 hrs towards John o groats arrival time will be from 10.30
So they still have some miles to cover.

me I’m going to put my feet up for a few hours then journey across to a marked lay-by for the final photos from 08.00hrs.

First car in.. nearly a rookie mistake of going over the check point before time.(you pick up big time penalties for arriving early) Fast turn around & park up.

I’m now parked up at John o groats.
Hopefully they are still alive as I have missed a few time slots due to single track A roads.
It’s that windy it was blowing me all over the road.
