I got the Caterham 7 for Christmas and just finished building it.
If yours goes to production I will definitely be buying one.
It can't be as frustrating to put together as a real Landy!

We had the Caterham to build and the Ferrari which were both great builds. Just hoping ours can get to join them on the Lego Shop shelves as would love for people to be able to add them to their own collections with the added options of being able to modify them, just like the real thing! ;)

Hi there,

Thought best let you know that the results have come out and Lego have decided not to produce the Land Rover so it won't be for sale in store.

We are obviously very disappointed as we know there was a market for this but would like to thank you for your support. We couldn't have got as far as we did without it!

A big mistake on their part, if you ask me.:(

Did Lego give a reason? I guess they would need lr's permission to use the name which won't be cheap.

We are going to look into what our options are now. We don't want to just let it go after all the support we had!
Contact TATA corporate head quarters with your idea with lots of info, and give them the idea they could sell them through the dealer networks world wide or through there on line store if they got 1. Do you got it copy right protected?

Go to MegaBlocks:cool:
But you might have to change it to a Freelander:eek:

shame it didn't get through :( I would have bought one for the grand-kids (OK for me) :D

LEGO own the rights for 3 years when you submit something so we still have a year to go but will see where we can go from here.

It is disappointing as we know it would have been popular.

You are not the first to say go to MegaBlocks! :D
