ZX81 and that progressed to a speccy+!

The school i was at (tavy comp) had a BBCB and an acorn and a "ooh err main frame" thing.

Never used the main frame thing, although i have since learned that a digital watch i had in 1989 had more computing power!)

I haven't always been in "the bubble" mate. But you have to take it when you can get it. Can't criticise a man for that surely.:)

I dint ask fer it (as you know being the same age, these things just sort of appeared!) but the speccy plus had a full 48K built in - read it and weep beeatch!

The ZX81 had 1K (yes, one K) memory - but you could up it to 16 with a thing that didn't really plug onto the back very well and was the size of a brick! Oh yeah baby, 16k!!!

i had a full 48k in my rubber key specy i'll ave you know and my old zx81 nearly got worn out with 3d monster maze before i got the 16k brick to go on the back !
