Hi all first time on here was posting on the defender side like a right plonker ive got discovery td5 hse model last of the old shape its running a bit slow at the min which I can deal with but it ****es water theres 2 sun roofs on it ive opened them clean an sealed them down an its still leaking water in can use HELP me please

all I did mate was open them right up cleaned all around the rubbers with fairy liquid then used the misses nail polish remover to rub on the rubber let it dry then seal it down this is what I was told to do Im not sure if its coming in through the outer rubber can this happen.

HI Dave,

If you do a search , top right hand corner , there are multiple threads about the sunroof , plus other locations for the leaks to happen. Personally I removed them completely including the frame and resealed the outer and this stopped it.

Ok is it a big job to remove the outer frame on them I'm going to look on youtube see if theres any videos.

There are how tos included in the threads on here, you just need to look. But not a big job, just make sure your hands are clean.
