It wasn't as difficult as you might think. Mind it did take
me the best part of a day. Mostly taking other stuff off to get access to the pump and then putting it all back together. Take your time and keep everything really clean. And make sure the big O ring is properly seated (no crap from the old one left in the groove) so you don't nip it when pulling it in.
But as far as I know mine was the first change in the Rover's lifetime 16 years.
What do you mean, happens every couple of years, BMW crap?
Do they even make the pump? (genuine question)
