Was looking online trying to see if its possible to buy a Brand New Tdi 300....like you do... ended up following some links to reconditioned engines etc....

No affiliation to this company... but I found it fascinating reading on the process of refurbing your engine... just follow the next step icon to see the different engines including the tdi 300 being meticulously remanufactured.

Why don't you build yourself a brand new 300tdi. New galvanized chassis. New everything. Then you could be sure about the mileage...

Actually, thats what I'd love to do one day. I wonder how much that would cost, as a DIY job?

Come on then Potent Boy, do us all a favour and start building one. Even if it takes you 12 months, It'll be finished before you find your Eutopia LR.

If I had a neighbour that was able to bail me out of trouble as and when I got stuck, which would be daily as I have no expereince with landrovers yet then it would certainly be an option... a fantastic way of being self sufficient with your own vehicle, you would know it inside out and also be able to maintain it forever....

In my case with out the minimum knowledge required, im just gonna have 10k of bits in a garage....

Anyway, this post was about the useful link to the remanufacturing process of your landy engine, not my inability to buy a defender...

God, if I cant even buy one, what am I gonna be like driving it....
