Thinking the other day, the last time I actually had to fix something on my 110 was in April 2018, when the clutch master cylinder went and that was my fault as I fitted a cheap one when doing the 300tdi conversion, genuine one now.
Gets driven around 30 miles everyday, not bad for a 33 year old car ..

Suppose this only really applies to ones that are driven frequently, but interesting to know when was the last time your land rover let you down?

Same fault, desperately needed it to move the dogz to find no resistance on the clutch pedal and fluid under the motor. Managed to do a 24 hour fix bleed in pouring rain so i could do the 120 miler. Then in torrential rain the wipers failed and I had to drive like a Japanese fighter pilot for 40 miles. I can laugh about it now.

I’ve just finished doing the crank pulley and fitting a new battery. Naturally now the passengers side electric window has stopped working. Water pump and oil pump bolt next on the list as preventatives. Then there’s various bits like folding mirrors electric seats lazy door lock etc etc. I’m hoping to have everything done st some point!

The passenger hinges failed at the weekend so I had to get out and close the gates in every field :( the Mrs was quite upset as every time we stopped I forgot to let her out....

I replaced the bottom hinge on my drivers door. Originally the door used to close a treat and even tho the hinge went back in exactly the same spot it now needs smashing shut

Not really broken as such, just not functioning...
I am replacing all hinges next weekend so she can get out and close the gates!!

You only need to replace the hinges on her side , surely??:D

You know if I had not broken mine , you would not have needed to do the gates anyway..LOL. I am sorry.

Cheers

Sharon reckoned you did it on purpose so you didn't have to keep getting out :D:D

A dodgy starter motor around five weeks ago. Except I couldn’t get it out as the engine is a disco 200Tdi with an exhaust conversion downpipe which meant i couldn’t get the old starter out. I had to refit it and for now, it’s starting fine!

Well I finally had something fail,
The little 90 degree joiner on the turbo outlet split so I had to drive a 300tdi without the turbo until I could get to the parts place, god that's fun .. and by fun I mean horrific.

Still, year and 4 months of constant use ,only a £10 repair and an oil change, pretty reliable I think.

Yesterday, today, tomorrow. Rarely let’s me down but constantly working on various bits and bobs.
