What's wrong with a good old paper map!

I've just moved from out of march. Loads and loads of lanes out that way, Rapidly seem to be being TRO'd at the moment on a permanent basis though.

We have a weekend jaunt being planned, first weekend in july at the moment. From Chatteris direction aiming towards yarmouth. Didn't make it last time, Too many lanes. Your more than welcome to come along.

I can't do paper maps, the cab of a Defender is crampt enough as it is without having to unfurl a document the size of a small tennis court in there as well :D

Thats where careful folding comes in. Have plenty of room in my Defender to read a map, and there's always the bonnet.... :D

Without having a go, or being a dick.

This is exactly why people need education on greenlaning and exactly why sensible people dont share knowledge.

You say youve driven loads of lanes, but you dont know what a TRO is. You could have driven a lane with a TRO on it already.

Which you probably wont know, is a TRO is enforcable and you can be prosecuted for driving it. But more important to the sensible laners out there, the TRO is there to protect it. It means its closed for a reason.

Have a look HERE to find out how to go about responsibly driving lanes.

Iv driven lanes that my buddies have had checked out by our local authorities, and i know they are driveable because there are regular group sessions going through, not just 4x4's either, i knew already most of the legislation and restriction on byways, just didnt understand the abbreviation. But, cheers for the link because it did in fact teach me something.
