Depends where it is i suppose. If its midlands based then we would have to be selective of lanes as some are very easy damaged around here.

I think any laning trips will have to be strictly limited to whatever suits the lanes

Definitely.

We need to get this idea planted in everyones head from the off. There will be no official LZ landing trips if the weather is bad and/or if the ground conditions are not suitable.

The damage that could be done to lanes if we all used them minutes apart etc is monumental. :(

thing is if it is in the midlands - its ideal for spreading a little further afield - North, South, East & West - easy enough to travel an hour or two in different directions so that lanes are not over used - so its not just local lanes to that area that would be being driven - also means that finding group leaders who know the lanes will be easier

same could be said for yorkshire, there is the peaks, north yorks, west yorks, south yorks and lincolnshire, other than the peaks some of these areas are not so sensitive and a lot in N yorks are in forests anyway

Last I looked Yorkshire wasnt central....which is what was decided :p .......mind you I guess the main thing is gonna be if we can find a bloody base at this rate, not so much where :(

North Yorks sounds fun. I should have more toys by the time this happens too.

not sure what happened to this place, Events off road i drive by it everyday it looks a really good site, there are several campsites within a 10 mile radius and plenty of hotels.

I'm so coming I missed eastnor because my truck had a crappy old V8 in it. Now 99% of its been replaced and I need to replace the other 1% to get it started all my engine is under warranty so I am damn sure coming. Time to look into making my own roof tent.
