That will depend on how meany of the Gaylander BOYS take their BOY FRIENDS !:oops::p

Yeah. You know, up until this point I was almost tempted to tag along but the prospect of a whole weekend of "Ooooo! Oooooo! GAYlander!, GAYlander!, Ooooo! Ooooo! Hairdryer!, Hairdryer!" leads me to suspect I'd have more fun trying to de-rust a Defender. I'll give it a miss, you'll all be pleased to hear.

Don't let the big nasty ones put you off, I'd be more than happy to tow your hippo out of any muddy fields :D

Ok, are dogs (of the canine breed) allowed?

Yes..absolutely

Dont be put off, ask those who were there the story of when the stuck defender nearly had to be rescued by a freelander.!!
We have had all sorts of green ovals come to this and the wider the variety the better for me. .......same goes for landys too;)

You'll find that it's different face to face, the hippos all make a good account of themselves on the lanes and everyone helps each other out wherever necessary whatever they're driving and nobody really cares.

Hippos have pulled tratters out of a spot of bother and visa versa and I've never seen any sign of 'us and them' in the marquee.

Well behaved dogs and owners under control are welcome. There's woodland walks next to the event field.

I'm not gonna proper chuck my hat in the ring quite yet - we're waiting on Richards to deliverise a noo chassis for the Lightweight in the next few weeks - then thar rebuild begins. Once that is sorted, then its Mulberry's turn to get some fettlerisation. If that comes off in time, who knows might have a couple of scabby Series 3's along. Watch this space.

I don't actually think you read my post. I said I'd give it a miss, so I'm out of your kitchen and you should be happy.

If you don't want to come that's totally fine but a few people have explained the reasons you gave don't really apply. Your choice though :)

I would prefer it that people don't try to create a division that doesn't exist at the gathering though

when i went on the last trip in my hippo

not one person took the mick and was made extremely welcome

everyone had a fantastic time off road, regardless of make and model everyone rallied round to help

know we pull each other's legs on line but at the event there is none of that

great laughs , everyone friendly , evening was really nice, putting names to faces

in my view the organisers deserved a medal, considering of the massive organisation that was happening behind the scenes and in advance , take my hat off to them
