If all goes to plan then we'll be heading off mid-morning - want to get there early enough to find the best spot for the caravan (in other words the flat bit that's too deep in grass and where the ground is solid enough we don't sink overnight (fingers crossed it won't rain that much - want a little bit over the days before to make the laning more fun though :)).

Then, if there's not other plans for the Friday afternoon, i'm happy to give a hand getting stuff set up if there's anything left to do - then (and possibly at the same time) it's gotta be beer-0'clock!!

Its a massive field and very flat so you wont have any problem finding a space for the caravan, we have had lots of rain at past events at Stanford hall and nobody has ever got bogged down

sounds good then - to be honest I wasn't all that worried, if i'd got stuck in a field full of Land Rovers and between us we couldn't get out then it would probably have been buried deep enough that it wasn't worth recovering. :)

We've just bought our tickets and very much looking forward to it. I finish nights on the friday morning so going to get a few hours sleep then head down. Get our trailer tent setup then help with anything else that needs doing.

Hoping to get there Thursday evening to set up the cake control unit.

Unfortunately we are being forced to comply with recent legislation (cake and associated confectionery act 2017) and due to the perceived security risk all vehicles will be searched.

Any and all articles reasonably deemed to be covered by the legislation will be 'made safe' in an approved manner.

While this may cause some minor inconvenience I hope everyone appreciates small sacrifices need to be made for the greater good and compliance will ensure that I....Erm....WE can fully enjoy the weekend :)

Best tell the Mrs not to bring chocolate brownies and cake truffles then lol

If you want to see a look of anticipation turn to one of disappointment and distress, bring them and eat them just before arriving.

Then casually wave the empty wrappers/ packets under the nose of @blue beasty .......................:p:p

Cheers
