had a thought

seeing i don't have a licence is it worth just getting something else that is fully legal

maybe a handheld cb or pmr

i've actually got a brand new tti 900 cb

could always simply wire it in temp to the lighter and put a magmount on the roof

then just out the aerial up when i want to use it

will keep the cost down then

there's 2 x glove boxes on the left hand side and really easy to run cables to the battery , is hidden out of the way

get a mic extension lead, simples

I was planning on bringing both to LZ13. Last year iirc CB 's were used.

My fitted CB, plus a pair of Cobra PMR446 handhelds. Which I used on Salisbury last month.

Cheers

Gary the Baofeng Is better than any pmr Radio & are a great radio !You just need to take the TEST to get the most out of it ! :)

Just to check in, was reading the CB talk but I can't say it makes any sense to me I'm not familiar with em, I don't really wanna fork out for a full one but since its just a radio comm is there any sort of hand helds or small jobbies you can get that does the job just for close up laning chat, could really do with one I'm out with my locals laning soon n all :)
Cheers

Why yu guna dangle yu worm Bobsticle ?:eek::eek::eek:
Be nice to take a couple of fly rods so peeps could have a go. There always seems to be alot of people around that have always wanted to try and cast a fly but never had the opportunity.

Whos going from up this end

I cant commit yet as I wont know if time will allow until much closer to the event. Its only 130 ish miles from home so its only about a three week journey in Henry.
