I find that in general I have to change my normal car (astra I 'fraid) insurance every year, but I've been with Lancaster for 3 years on my landy and I find them very cheap. That said I'm in the process of listing all the mods I've made to send to them and I've no idea what they will say. Luckly most of them are quite tame. Std height gas shocks, heavy duty std height coils, heavy duty bumper, roof rack, uprated intercooler.

Ouch...quote of 609, i dont think footman james like my area you know.
on the plus side, they only wanted 740 for me and the missus (provisional license!)

i'd definetly try lancaster insurance mate when i bought my last landy i was getting quotes of 900 quid tpft.. with 2 yrs ncb. lancaster did it for 300 fully comp with european breakdown cover and didn't use ncb i'm 26 with 1 fault accident and sp30 and a coach driver which apparently makes me higher risk? afterall i'm used to a 40ft motor what would i know about driving a 15ft 4x4???

I'm on lancaster at the moment - £4xx something.
I was surprised when they asked "how many seats", and I told them nine, and for a moment it was "I dont think we insure 9 seaters...." I was at the other end of the phone like "bleargh?" they then came back and said yes after two minutes pause...

(south london suburb by the way)

swift cover quoted me £560 for renewal direct choice which im with charged me £368 so i took both there arms off thats full comp

Nobody's mentioned direct line so I will. 110 turbo diesel, non standard wheels, fully comp, 170 quid for me and the missus. That's cheaper than it cost to insure her zafira and I don't reckon I could do half the damage with that;)

I used confused.com and they found Lancaster to be my cheapest quote.

Im 22, live in a very high crime rated area, no NCBs on my 1978 diesel landy its £250 a year fully comp with an agreed value of £3k for the landy.

Bargain!
